Q: How does the process work?
A: The process works with you inquiring! Send me a message, let me know what you are looking for! If you have any ideas or inspiration for the your shoot, send it my way! We can set up a phone call and we can talk in more depth. If you don't have any visuals to show me, I will happily make up some mood boards to get an idea of what you are looking for and we will make it happen! After we will find the perfect package to suit you. I then ask for a down payment to secure your spot and payment plans are offered for the remaining balance of the shoot.
Q: What camera equipment do you use?
A: I shoot with CANON camera! I have the R5 Mirrorless body and a huge variety of lenses but my favourite lenses are the 16-35mm F2.8, the 35mm F1.8 and my 70-200 F2.8!
Q: Can you send me the raws? (unedited photos)
A: No. It is my art! Editing is half of my job! I have a very specific editing style and am very proud of the galleries I send to you as I put many hours of work into them!
Q: Can I edit the photos myself?
A: As I stated in the previous question, no! I like to express natural beauty and do NOT allow editing, filters etc on my work. If you have a personal request, we can talk about it and I can make small adjustment. The following will be in the contract you sign upon arriving the shoot. "The client shall NOT edit or manipulate the photographs sent in the final digital image gallery! Plenty of hours go into post-production! (Temporary blemishes can be removed by the photographer if asked by the client, pimples, bruises etc.)
Q: How long do I have to wait for my photo gallery?
A: Galleries are sent out within 7-14 days after our photo shoot. (Unless a payment plan is in place. In that case, the gallery will be sent after your last payment!)
Q: Do I have to share my images?
A: Absolutely not! There is no pressure in sharing photographs to social media on your OR my page. I will ask you to sign a content release form for your permission. You can choose to share some and not others, or none at all! Totally up to you!
Q: Do you offer products?
A: I do! I highly suggest printing images we capture together! It's an amazing thing to have physical copies whether that is framed photographs for your wall, polaroids for your wallet or a personal book to keep to yourself!
Q: What if I don’t know how to pose?
A: I will pose you head to toe your entire photo session ! Have no worries about that. We can look at ideas together and create mood boards for inspiration to create the exact look you're going for.
Q: Do I have to do my own hair and makeup?
A: If you want to do your own hair and makeup, you are more than welcome to! If you are looking for someone to help you with your hair and makeup, I have lots of lovely people who help me out with these things! Send me an email and I will show you a variety of the work they have done for me in the past and we will find a date that works for all of us.
Q: Can I do portraits in the studio and outside?
A: Of course! I do this often with my models! You and I can chat and we will create a custom shoot just for you. I usually suggest that we start in the studio for an hour and then you can change into your second look and we will head outside!
Q: Can I bring a friend or significant other to my session?
A: If you think that will make you most comfortable, you can bring someone to your session. I always encourage people to come alone because it is an empowering experience to do on your own.
Do I have to pay in full the day of our shoot?
A: No! I offer payment plans! The deposit is due when you originally book and the following payments can be divided up into separate payments sent weekly/bi-weekly up until the date of our shoot. I try to be accommodating to everyone and their unique situation.
